Speciality: woodwork design, construction and production organization. John Hoare Founder member. Began making harps in 1966, beginning with the restoration of the Victorian instruments. Speciality: Mechanical design, servicing and Pedal harp regulations. Jerry Blumire Founder member. Began making harps in 1978. The most musical of the team (and the best voice). Speciality: laminated woodwork, lever harp regulation, hand-painted designs. Richard Haugh Joined Pilgrim in 1998. Metal production and assembly, precision in mechanics for reliability of the pedal movement. James Clarke Joined Pilgrim in 1997. Woodwork production, Speciality: laminated woodwork, soundbox construction and assembly.
